Size

Midi beds are generally smaller than high sleepers and also have a shorter ladder or staircase. They are therefore perfect for smaller rooms. They can take one UK mattress and add a variety of useful elements beneath. From a smart desk that slides out into an open cupboard that is ready to hold totes to elegant drawer storage that is smooth and has no wobble operation.

Our midi cabin beds come in a range of colors so you can pick the one that will best suit your child's bedroom. Some go higher and offer a range of bespoke storage units. The desk can be moved between two units on wheels. There are four storage drawers and two cabinets that have doors. The Eli F takes it to the next level by having doors that match the color of the foot and headboards.

The Luna low line loft bed, also known as a midi storage bed is compact and comes with everything you require, a ladder that can be turned, a desk that slides in and out on wheels a three drawer chest and cabinet all included. You could also request it in reverse configuration, for example the ladder on the left. You can ask for this in the store or indicate this request at the checkout.

A low line loft bed with a staircase that is turned is another option that is popular with many of our clients. This compact midi-loft with storage is ideal for children as the desk slides out and back on wheels and there are three drawers that can be used to store their toys or trinkets as well as a large cabinet to store books.

Some midi loft bunk beds that have storage have the desk built in (as shown above), while other models, like our Luna midi-bunk, have the ladder on the right so that the table can be placed on the left. Most Midi loft beds require a standard UK Single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) and a wooden base. The price of the bed does not include the mattress. We suggest checking our mattress deals to find one that fits your budget.

A midi-cabin with storage can be the ideal solution for a child's bedroom that requires extra space. These beds for kids that are multi-functional are lower in height than high-sleepers and typically come with stairs or ladders to make it easy to access. They are usually fitted with clever storage options like cabinets, drawers and desks that can be used to store books or toys, among other things. Some midi loft bed models come with a stylish, movable tent that can be used to host sleepovers, games and activities.

Some of our cabin beds have the option to add doors to drawers and cabinets. These are available in the same colour as the foot and head board chosen. If you need this, you can ask in store, over the phone or include a note in your purchase.

Mattress

Most midi beds use standard UK single mattresses and the top bunk comes with a security rail to give you peace of mind. Some models come with an trundle drawer with a pull-out that can be used for sleeping overs, or for adding more storage space beneath the bed. They can be opened or equipped with a door (please look at the product's details for more information).

Many midi cabins include desks that can be moved between the two upper levels, or chests of drawers. This gives children a bespoke space to store their belongings and means that there's no need to take precious floor space with bulky wardrobes or shelving units.

A few of the models have taken it one step further by adding cabinet-style storage that is flush mounted or part of the headboard or footboard. This is ideal for storing toys and books.
