Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most prevalent malignant tumors with poor prognosis. Increasing evidence has revealed that immune cells and checkpoints in the tumor microenvironment (TME) and aging are associated with the prognosis of HCC. However, the association between aging and the tumor immune microenvironment (TIME) in HCC is still unclear.

RNA expression profiles and clinical data concerning HCC were downloaded from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) databases. Based on differentially expressed aging-related genes (DEAGs), unsupervised clustering was used to identify a novel molecular subtype in HCC. The features of immune cell infiltration and checkpoints were further explored through CIBERSORTx. Enrichment analysis and both univariate and multivariate Cox analyses were conducted to construct a 3-gene model for predicting prognosis and chemosensitivity. Metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC) is usually considered to have a poor prognosis, which has a high risk of early death (≤3 months). Our aim was to developed a predictive nomogram for early death of mRCC.

To search and obtain the relevant evidence of prevention and management of lower extremity deep venous thrombosis (DVT) after gynecological malignant tumor operation and to summarize the relevant evidence.

We searched the JBI evidence summary, up to date, the national comprehensive cancer network of the United States, the guide library of the National Institute of clinical medicine of the United Kingdom, PubMed, the Chinese biomedical literature database, CNKI, Wanfang, and other relevant evidence on the prevention and management of DVT in patients with gynecological malignant tumors. It includes clinical practice guidelines, best practice information book, expert consensus, evidence summary, original research, etc. The retrieval time limit is from database establishment till August 20, 2021. Two researchers independently evaluated the literature quality, combined with professional judgment, and extracted the literature that met the standards.

Finally, 18 literatures were included, including eight guidelines, three evidence summaries, four systematic evaluations, two expert consensuses, and one best practice information volume. A total of 26 pieces of the best evidence on the prevention and management of postoperative venous thrombosis in gynecological malignant tumors were summarized. The purpose of this review was to consolidate the current literature related to ponticulus posticus (PP) and to improve the systematic understanding of this anatomical variant of atlas among spine surgeons.

Articles reviewed were searched in PubMed, Ovid MEDLINE, and Embase. All articles of any study design discussing on PP were considered for inclusion. Two independent authors read article titles and abstracts and included appropriate articles. The relevant articles were studied in full text.

We aimed to perform a meta-analysis to evaluate the safety and efficacy of enhanced recovery after a surgery program in laparoscopic hepatectomy.

The relative studies from a specific search of PUBMED, EMBASE, OVID, and Cochrane database from June 2008 to February 2022 were selected and included in this meta-analysis. The primary outcomes included length of hospital stay, duration to functional recovery, and overall postoperative complication rate. The secondary outcomes included operative time, intraoperative blood loss, cost of hospitalization, readmission rate, Grade I complication rate, and Grade II-V complication rate.

A minimally invasive technique with a better outcome is desired. The purpose of this study was to present a new technique-sphincter-preserving fistulectomy (SPF) and its clinical outcomes.

A retrospective study was performed to compare the efficacy and outcomes of SPF with ligation of the intersphincteric fistula tract (LIFT) in the management of complex anal fistulas in regards to postoperative pain, complications, wound healing time, recurrence, overall success rate, fecal continence function, and quality of life. Continence function was evaluated using the Wexner incontinence scale and anal manometry. The fecal incontinence quality of life (FIQL) scale was used to assess patients' quality of life.

From June 2020 to July 2021, 41 patients with 43 SPF procedures and 35 patients with 35 LIFT procedures were included. Postoperative pain was comparable between two groups.
