To assess the clinical efficacy of oxymatrine plus antiviral therapy in the treatment of sepsis and its effects on the levels of endotoxin and inflammatory factors.
. 90 patients with sepsis were selected for retrospective analysis and were assigned to receive either conventional treatment (control group) or oxymatrine plus antiviral treatment (study group). The clinical endpoint was treatment efficacy.
There were no significant differences in baseline patient profile between the two groups (
> 0.05). The study group showed a higher efficiency versus the control group (
< 0.05). Patients in the study group had a significantly shorter mechanical ventilation duration and ICU stay versus those in the control group (
< 0.05). Both groups had reduced Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation II (APACHE II) score, Marshall score, levels of endotoxin, tumor necrosis factor-
(TNF-
), interleukin (IL)-6, IL-8, C-reactive protein (CRP), and procalcitonin (PCT) after treatment, with lower results in the study group versus the control group (
< 0.05).
Oxymatrine plus antiviral therapy effectively improves clinical efficacy, reduces the levels of endotoxin and inflammatory factors, protects organ function, and boosts recovery. Further clinical trials are, however, required prior to general application in clinical practice.

To study the clinical effect of Zhengyuan capsule combined with neoadjuvant chemotherapy in the treatment of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC).
From September 2014 to September 2017, 120 TNBC patients who underwent radical mastectomy in our hospital were randomly divided into control group (
= 60) and observation group (
= 60). The short-term curative effect, the incidence of toxicity and side effects, and the score of quality of life of the patients were compared. Both recurrence and metastasis rates were also analyzed.
The combined treatment of Zhengyuan capsule with neoadjuvant chemotherapy significantly improved the objective remission rate (70.00% in the observation group versus 40.00% in the control group) (
< 0.05). Moreover, this combined treatment significantly decreased the total incidence of side effects (35.00% versus 75.00%). Accordingly, the score of quality of life was also increased in patients treated with Zhengyuan capsule plus neoadjuvant chemotherapy (
< 0.05). Furthermore, supplementation of Zhengyuan capsule can significantly suppress both the recurrence and metastasis rate of TNBC in patients treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy after radical mastectomy in following 3 years (30.00% versus 10.00%,
< 0.05).
Zhengyuan capsule effectively improves the short-term curative effect, reduces the side effects of chemotherapy, and improves the quality of life of patients treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy after radical mastectomy. More importantly, this combined treatment can also reduce the long-term recurrence and metastasis of TNBC.

This article aims to explore the impact and mechanism of invigorating qi and promoting blood circulation (IQPBC) on angiogenesis after myocardial infarction (AMI) by using network pharmacology approach.
First, IQPBC was searched on the traditional Chinese medicine systems pharmacology database and analysis platform (TCMSP), and the main active ingredients and targets of IQPBC were screened and obtained. Second, by virtue of GeneCards and Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man (OMIM) databases, the targets related to AMI are screened and then obtained. Then, the intersection targets between IQPBC and AMI can be obtained by using online tool Venny 2.1.0. Third, based on the STRING database, the interaction of target proteins is established and some key targets can be analyzed and obtained. Finally, the IQPBC-AMI interaction network is constructed by using Cytoscape, and Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) enrichment analyses are executed by DAVID and OmicShare databases.
143 intersection targets between IQPBC and AMI are obtained. Besides, key active ingredients, namely, quercetin, tanshinone, kaempferol, and luteolin, are shown. Furthermore, AKT1, VEGFA, STAT3, HIF-1
, and other 10 key targets are obtained. A total of 752 enrichment results are acquired by using GO analysis. KEGG pathway enrichment analysis shows 241 signaling pathways, focusing on cancer, fluid shear stress and atherosclerosis, and TNF and PI3K/AKT signaling pathways.
This article studies the potential targets and signaling pathways of IQPBC drugs acting on AMI via the network pharmacology approach, which better illustrates the effect and mechanism, and provides some good ideas for the following mechanism research studies.

L. is used for blood sugar management in patients with diabetes mellitus. This review aimed to evaluate the effect of
on blood sugar management.
This review was conducted in accordance with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis Protocols (PRISMA-P). We searched PubMed, EMBASE, and four Korean medical databases (RISS, OASIS, NDSL, and KISS) using relevant keywords. Randomized controlled trials with any type of control intervention were included. The selection of studies, data extraction, and quality assessment were performed independently by two researchers.
Our results showed that
can reduce postprandial glucose and insulin levels. However, it is insufficient to conclude that
is an effective intervention for lowering blood glucose levels. Therefore, more rigorous studies are needed to reveal the effect of MA on blood glucose levels.
The conclusion of this review provides evidence that
can control blood sugar level. This systematic review was registered with the International Prospective Register of Systematic Reviews (PROSPERO) (CRD42021255940).

After oral administration of marein, the blood concentration of marein is low. buy ABT-737 The metabolites of marein have not been reported systematically. In this study, a rapid and systematic method based on ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS) was established to detect metabolites of marein in vivo (plasma and urine) after oral administration and injection. Sixty-one metabolites were identified. The metabolites are formed through a wide range of metabolic reactions, including hydroxylation, glucuronidation, methylation, hydrolysis, and desorption of hydrogen. The liver microsome incubation was further used to investigate the metabolic rate of marein. Network pharmacology was applied to study the targets and pathways of marein and its metabolites. Marein and its metabolites act on the same targets to enhance the therapeutic effect. This research illuminates the metabolites and metabolic reaction of marein and establishes a basis for the development and rational utilization of C. tinctoria. Meanwhile, the analysis of prototype and metabolites together by network pharmacology techniques could provide a methodology for the study of component activity.Traditional clinical named entity recognition methods fail to balance the effectiveness of feature extraction of unstructured text and the complexity of neural network models. We propose a model based on ALBERT and a multihead attention (MHA) mechanism to solve this problem. Structurally, the model first obtains character-level word embeddings through the ALBERT pretraining language model, then inputs the word embeddings into the iterated dilated convolutional neural network model to quickly extract global semantic information, and decodes the predicted labels through conditional random fields to obtain the optimal label sequence. Also, we apply the MHA mechanism to capture intercharacter dependencies from multiple aspects. Furthermore, we use the RAdam optimizer to boost the convergence speed and improve the generalization ability of our model. Experimental results show that our model achieves an F1 score of 85.63% on the CCKS-2019 dataset-an increase of 4.36% compared to the baseline model.

Intra-articular injection for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis is a regularly utilized nonsurgical treatment in modern medicine. Hyaluronic acid (HA) and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) are two frequently employed intra-articular devices. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is an accepted nonsurgical treatment for symptomatic KOA, and platelet-rich plasma is a popular option in the treatment of KOA in recent years. The purpose of this research is to compare the efficacy and safety of intra-articular injection of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) versus hyaluronic acid (HA) on the pain score scale, knee function, and related inflammatory biomarkers in KOA patients using a clinical randomized controlled trial. Participants are being randomized into either the hyaluronic acid (HA) or into the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) group. All patients receive 4 weeks of treatment (once a week), and well-being support and quadriceps training (3 times a week).
