ARM measurement may have an important role in determining the treatment method and duration in Graf type III and IV hips. It can be used as a prognostic factor alone or in combination with treatment initiation time. When the two factors are combined, prognostic value significantly increases.

Methane activation starts with the formation of a complex with a metal ion. The degree of the interaction between an intact methane molecule and the ion can be monitored by the perturbations of C-H stretch vibrations in the methane molecule. Binding mediated by the electrostatic interaction results in a η3 type coordination of methane. In contrast, binding governed by orbital interactions results in a η2 type coordination of methane. We further review the spectroscopic characterization of activation products of metal-methane reactions, such as the metal-carbene and carbyne products resulting from the interaction of selected 5d metals with methane. The focus of recent research in the field has shifted towards the investigation of interactions between methane and metal clusters. We show examples highlighting that metal clusters can be more reactive in methane activation reactions.

To investigate the associations between demographic characteristics, perceived threat, perceived stress, coping responses and adherence to COVID-19 prevention measures in Chinese Healthcare students.

A cross-sectional survey collecting data in Hong Kong and Fujian Province of China in April 2020.

A convenience and snowball sample of 2706 students aged 18years or older and studying a healthcare programme were recruited in tertiary education institutions/universities in Hong Kong and Putian. The participants completed the questionnaire with six scales Social Distancing Scale; Personal Hygiene Scale; Empathic Responding Scale; Wishful Thinking Scale; Perceived Stress Scale and Perceived Threat Scale. Path analysis was performed to identify factors associated with the preventive measures outcomes. p value<.05 was considered as statistical significance.

The participants reported high compliances to both social distancing (SoD) and personal hygiene measures (PHM). Confidence to manage the current situatiructed is the first one to explore factors associating with the compliance with infection control measures in healthcare students amid the COVID-19 outbreak. As the infection control behaviours of healthcare students, whom are still under training and are the high-risk group of being infected and infecting others in the community, are rarely reported in literature, this study has provided empirical evidence to nurses and other healthcare professionals to identify students susceptible to poor compliance and provide early monitoring and education to suppress the COVID-19 transmission. The letter to the editor from Philip Graham regarding the manuscript 'Early adolescent gender diversity and mental health in the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development study' (Potter et al., 2021) raises several points that highlight the complexity of the conversation around gender development in youth. While there is an agreement between the original manuscript and much of the letter, some of the issues raised warrant further discussion and clarification.

The association between vitamin D receptor (VDR) polymorphisms and metabolic syndrome (MS) has been demonstrated by epidemiological studies while their correlation remain controversial. The aim of this study is to investigate the association of VDR gene polymorphisms with MS and MS-related components in the two communities of Hangzhou.

A total of 394 subjects were enrolled in the cross-sectional study. Four VDR gene polymorphisms (ApaI, BsmI, FokI, and TaqI) were selected based on human genome sequence databases and genotyped using the MassARRAY Analyzer Compact.

In lipid profile, the TT genotype of ApaI had a significantly lower risk of hypertriglyceridemia compared with the GG+GT genotypes (recessive model OR=0.141; 95% CI=0.041-0.486; p<0.01) and the GG genotype (codominant model OR=0.155; 95% CI=0.044-0.545; p<0.01). The levels of triglyceride (TG) in the TT genotype of ApaI were lower than the GG+GT genotypes (1.29±0.63 vs. 1.78±1.59mmol/L, p<0.01). Furthermore, the AA+GA carriers of BsmI ated with hypertriglyceridemia and predisposed to developing MS, while the variants of BsmI and TaqI seem to affect HDL-C. Nevertheless, the effect of FokI variants with SBP is ambiguous.

Conduct disorder (CD) rarely occurs alone but is typically accompanied by comorbid psychiatric disorders, which complicates the clinical presentation and treatment of affected youths. The aim of this study was to investigate sex differences in comorbidity pattern in CD and to systematically explore the 'gender paradox' and 'delayed-onset pathway' hypotheses of female CD.

As part of the FemNAT-CD multisite study, semistructured clinical interviews and rating scales were used to perform a comprehensive phenotypic characterization of 454 girls and 295 boys with CD (9-18years), compared to 864 sex- and age-matched typically developing controls.

Girls with CD exhibited higher rates of current major depression, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder and borderline personality disorder, whereas boys with CD had higher rates of current attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. In line with the 'gender paradox' hypothesis, relative to boys, girls with CD showed significantly more lifetime psychiatric comorbidities (incl.
