Anthracosis commonly involves bronchial trees and rarely lymph nodes. We report an unusual case of a 44-year-old female presented with painless supraclavicular swelling for 1 month. A fine-needle aspiration cytology examination was done from the swelling. The smears were markedly cellular and showed the presence of sheets, clusters, and singly scattered round to oval cells with mild anisonucleosis, fine to coarse chromatin, few with tiny nucleoli, and cytoplasm containing abundant black coarse pigment. At many places, the fibroblasts and lymphocytes were admixed with histiocytes containing pigment. The cell block made showed cell morphology similar to that described above for fine-needle aspiration smears. The immunohistochemistry on the cell block and special stains helped to ascertain the nature of pigment and cell type. The final diagnosis of the anthracofibrosis lymph node was made. Primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) has been reported to occur more frequently in Africans, and to follow a more severe course compared to Europeans. We aimed to describe characteristics of POAG presentation and treatment across three ethnic groups from Africa and one from Europe.

We ascertained 151 POAG patients from South African Coloured (SAC) and 94 South African Black (SAB) ethnicity from a university hospital in South Africa. In Tanzania, 310 patients were recruited from a university hospital and a referral hospital. In the Netherlands, 241 patients of European ancestry were included. Explore leadership self-perception of clinical nurses at the bedside and their perception of leadership on patient care and outcomes.

According to Institute of Medicine Future of Nursing Report, nurses are called to exhibit leadership at every level. Published research on nursing leadership is primarily focused on formal leaders. Research examining leadership at the clinical nurse level has either tested application of a particular leadership model or studied nurses who have been identified as informal clinical leaders. We took an inductive approach without any prior knowledge if participating clinical nurses viewed themselves as leaders.

Descriptive qualitative method was used.

Four focus groups were conducted with a total of 20 clinical nurses from 2 hospitals within an integrated health system using a convenience sampling method until saturation was reached. The Consolidated criteria for Reporting Qualitative research (COREQ) was used to report findings.

All participants identified qualities they admired in leaders.
