We found that multiple dimensions of neighborhood context-especially neighborhood socioeconomic status, older housing stock, residential instability and prevalence of neurological hazards in the ambient air-strongly and robustly predicted the diagnosis of a neurodevelopmental disorder during childhood.How to effectively identify the spatial effect of the emissions trading system(ETS) on urban green total factor productivity(GTFP) generated through the linkage of economic factors between cities is a necessary part of scientifically evaluating the effect of ETS policy in emerging- market countries. This study aims to examine the spatial effect, mechanism, and heterogeneity of the ETS on urban GTFP based on the panel data of 281 cities from 2004 to 2017 in China, applying spatial difference-in-differences(DID) Durbin model (SDID-SDM) with multidimensional fixed effect (FE). The results show that ETS significantly improves the GTFP of the pilot cities, produces a spatial spillover effect and the results are robust to the placebo test, propensity score matching SDID (PSM-SDID) test, and Carbon-ETS interference test. Further analysis shows that the policy effect is mainly driven by improving energy efficiency, promoting green innovation, and optimizing the industrial structure. In addition, we found that ETS performs better in regions with a high degree of marketization, strong environmental law enforcement, and a low proportion of coal consumption. In general, the identification method of this study can be used as a scientific reference for conducting similar research in other emerging countries.
To investigate the impact of tinnitus on professional musicians in the UK.
Tinnitus is the experience of sound when an external source is absent, primarily associated with the ageing process, hearing loss, and noise exposure. Amongst populations exposed to industrial noise, noise exposure and noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) have been found to be the factors most associated with tinnitus. The risk of NIHL amongst professional musicians is greater than that amongst the general population, meaning they may be at increased risk of tinnitus.
Seventy-four professional musicians completed an online survey involving closed and open-ended questions, and completed the Tinnitus fuctional Index (TFI) questionnaire. Descriptive statistics and thematic analysis of open-ended qualitative responses were used to analyse the data.
Three themes were generated from the analysis of the responses to the open-ended questions. These themes were (1) the impact of tinnitus on the lives of professional musicians, (2) professional musician experience of tinnitus services, support, and hearing health and safety, and (3) the support professional musicians want. The mean global TFI score for professional musicians was 39.05, interpreted as tinnitus being a moderate problem. Comparisons with general population data revealed lower TFI scores for the TFI subscales of 'sense of control' and 'intrusiveness' for professional musicians and higher for auditory difficulties associated with tinnitus amongst professional musicians.

Family caregivers have increased contact with medical providers and procedures in the process of caring, and they have also witnessed the disability and suffering of patients. However, few studies have focused on family caregivers to understand their attitudes towards ACP. The aim of this cross-sectional study was to acknowledge family caregivers' attitudes towards ACP and the related factors, especially care stress and experiences during the care process. We interviewed 291 family caregivers, and the demographics of the caregivers and care recipients, the clinical condition of care recipients, and the caregivers' stress and care experiences were collected via anonymous questionnaires. Multiple logistic regression was performed to determine the factors associated with the attitudes towards ACP. We found that the caregiver having private health insurance (p less then 0.001) and a completed DNR (p less then 0.001) and the experience of recipients admitted to the ICU (p = 0.019) are associated with caregiver's positive attitudes towards ACP. The greater the stress of conflict within a family over care decisions, the more participants think that ACP is important (p = 0.011). It is suggested that (1) in a family-centered culture, a public strategy for promoting ACP could be to emphasize the benefits of ACP in reducing family conflicts, and (2) when people make financial plans, they should also be provided with information about ACP to enable them to form a more integral plan for their future.Drone audition techniques are helpful for listening to target sound sources from the sky, which can be used for human searching tasks in disaster sites. Among many techniques required for drone audition, sound source tracking is an essential technique, and thus several tracking methods have been proposed. Authors have also proposed a sound source tracking method that utilizes multiple microphone arrays to obtain the likelihood distribution of the sound source locations. These methods have been demonstrated in benchmark experiments. However, the performance against various sound sources with different distances and signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) has been less evaluated. Since drone audition often needs to listen to distant sound sources and the input acoustic signal generally has a low SNR due to drone noise, making a performance assessment against source distance and SNR is essential. Therefore, this paper presents a concrete evaluation of sound source tracking methods using numerical simulation, focusing on various source distances and SNRs. The simulated results captured how the tracking performance will change when the sound source distance and SNR change. The proposed approach based on location distribution estimation tended to be more robust against distance increase, while existing approaches based on directional estimation tended to be more robust against decreasing SNR.Nowadays people are mostly focused on their work while ignoring their health which in turn is creating a drastic effect on their health in the long run. This paper designs a remote biomedical signal monitoring framework combining the Internet of Things (IoT), 5G communication and artificial intelligence techniques. In the constructed framework, IoT devices are used to collect biomedical signals at the perception layer. To explore how PC doctors' and nurses' self-efficacy surrounding ACP is linked to their sociodemographic characteristics, background and perceptions of ACP practices.
A cross-sectional study was performed. Sociodemographics, background and perceptions about ACP in practice were collected using an online survey. The Advance Care Planning Self-Efficacy Spanish (ACP-SEs) scale was used for the self-efficacy measurement.
Bivariate, multivariate and backward stepwise logistic regression analyses were performed to identify variables independently related to a higher score on the ACP-SEs.
N = 465 participants, 70.04% doctors, 81.47% female. The participants had a mean age of 46.45 years and 66.16% had spent >15 years in their current practice. The logistic regression model showed that scoring ≤ 75 on the ACP-SEs was related to a higher score on feeling sufficiently trained, having participated in ACP processes, perceiving that ACP facilitates knowledge of preferences and values, and perceiving that ACP improves patients' quality of life.

Professionals with previous background and those who have a positive perception of ACP are more likely to feel able to carry out ACP processes with patients.This paper describes the study of the fatty acid (FA) composition of three fish species (roach, perch, and pike) from Lake Gusinoe (western Transbaikalia). Using principal component analysis, the fatty acid composition of the studied fish species was shown to be species specific. The muscle tissue of roach, perch, and pike was found to contain high levels of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA), including essential docosahexaenoic (DHA), eicosapentaenoic (EPA), and arachidonic acids. Indicators of nutritional quality based on the fatty acid composition showed that the values of the hypocholesterolemic/hypercholesterolemic (HH) ratio indices were sufficiently high. The atherogenicity (AI) and thrombogenicity (TI) indices, which are indicators for the nutritional value, were less than 1 in the studied fish. In terms of flesh lipid quality (FLQ), pike and perch had the highest proportion of total EPA + DHA. According to the obtained data for the composition of fatty acids in the muscle tissue of the studied fish from Lake Gusinoe, the anthropogenic load exerted on Lake Gusinoe has not yet statistically significantly affected the fish muscle quality.Background This study investigated the associations between employment transitions and psychological distress among a cohort of 45 years and older Australians. Methods This study was based on the 45 and Up Study, a large prospective cohort of participants aged 45 years and older (N = 267,153), followed up over the period 2006-2015. The risk of psychological distress was compared between various employment transitions categories by specifying an ordered logistic regression model adjusting for confounders. Results Compared to participants who remained employed at baseline and follow-up, higher psychological distress was found among those who transitioned from being employed to unemployed (OR = 2.68, 95%CI 2.13-3.33) and to not being in the labour force or retired (OR = 2.21, 95%CI 1.85-2.62). Higher psychological distress was also evident among those who remained unemployed from baseline to follow-up (OR = 2.00, 95%CI 1.10-3.43), and those who transitioned from being retired to being unemployed (OR = 1.55, 95%CI 1.
