© 2020 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Inc.The data presented in this article relates to the manuscript entitled 'Engineering of Chinese hamster ovary cell lipid metabolism results in an expanded ER and enhanced recombinant biotherapeutic protein production', published in the Journal Metabolic Engineering [1]. In the article here, we present data examining the overexpression of the lipid metabolism modifying genes SCD1 and SREBF1 in CHO cells by densitometry of western blots and by using mass spectrometry to investigate the impact on specific lipid species. We also present immunofluorescence data at the protein level upon SCD1 and SREBF1 overexpression. The growth profile data during batch culture of control CHO cells and CHO cells engineered to overexpress SCD1 and SREBF1 during batch culture are also reported. Finally, we report data on the yields of model secretory recombinant proteins produced from control, SCD1 or SREBF1 engineered cells using a transient expression systems. © 2020 The Author(s).The continuous monitoring of environmental noise levels is deemed necessary, such in the strategic noise mapping or in the cohort studies. The environmental noise levels can be measured and analysed with the aid of various methods. In this article presents the method recommended by the European Union (EU). The data contain the road traffic noise level measurements in the Greater Thessaloniki area, Greece. The Leq noise measurements carried out at two different locations, the Urban Highway-Hot Spot area and the Residential area, for a 3 year measurement period. Also, the analysis was based on the environmental noise indicators Lday, Lden, Levening, Lnight. © 2020 The Authors. This article contains the data of 11 organic substrates including physicochemical, biochemical and nutritional characterisations. Additionally, it includes for all substrates the data of organic matter fractionation into easily biodegradable, slowly biodegradable and inert fractions performed with anaerobic respirometry method. Finally, based on physicochemical characterisations and organic matter fractionation, a detailed methodology for the determination of input state variables required for the anaerobic digestion model N°1 (ADM1) was presented and the dataset for all substrates is provided. An example of calculation for one substrate illustrates the methodology for the determination of these variables. Data provided in this article could be useful to any person interested in modelling anaerobic digestion and particularly co-digestion. Data could be also used for implementation of a database for anaerobic digestion modelling. © 2020 The Author(s).Presented paper described dataset on near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) used as a rapid and robust method to predict and determine several nutritive parameters of animal feed simultaneously. Near spectra data were acquired and recorded in wavelength range from 1000 to 2500 nm with co-added of 64 scans per sample measurement. On the other hand, actual reference nutritive parameters in vitro organic matter digestibility (IVOMD), in vitro dry matter digestibility (IVDMD), neutral detergent fibre (NDF) and acid detergent fibre (ADF) of animal feed were measured using proximate laboratory procedures. Near infrared datasets can be enhanced using several spectra correction methods to improve prediction accuracy and robustness. Animal feed nutritive parameters can be determined simultaneously and rapidly by establishing prediction models by means of principal component regression (PCR), partial least squares regression (PLSR) and other regression approaches. © 2020 The Author(s).This paper provides detail on sequence analysis of hazy days based on eight monitoring stations from three states (Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang) in the eastern region of Peninsular Malaysia. The dataset comprises of 1502 daily mean hazy days that had been measured for a decade. The meteorology data namely wind speed, wind direction, air temperature, relative humidity and particulate matter (PM10) were used to comprehend the variability, and the relationship existed amongst variables. The final dataset consists of a summary descriptive analysis and a boxplot, where all five variables were involved, including the minimum, maximum, mean, 1st quartile, median, 3rd quartile and standard deviation are presented. Apart from descriptive analysis, the normality test and histogram were performed as well. © 2020 Universiti Malaysia Terengganu.Forward modeling of geophysical electromagnetic fields over large three-dimensional volumes is a heavy computational task that demands effective accelerating strategies. As a solution to this computational challenge, a hybrid parallel computing algorithm with multiple meshes has been previously proposed for 3D forward modeling of time-domain electromagnetic (TEM) fields by Liu et al. (2019). MPI and OpenMP were used for parallel computing and multiple meshes for optimizing the design of the geological model and frequencies used in forward modeling. The data presented in this paper offers complementary information on the calculation of the different components, such as the model discretization with regular or multiple meshes, the parallel computing with even or uneven modes, and an example of 3D TEM forward modeling through the proposed algorithm. © 2020 The Author(s).Data on the rapid, elemental and calorimetric analysis, such as ash melting behaviour and thermogravimetric profiles of six Cuban biomass feedstock are shown, in order to assess their potential for bioenergy production. The studied biomasses are Jatropha curcas husk, Moringa oleifera husk, Dichrostachys cinerea, Ulva lactuca, Chaetomorpha gracilis and Sargassum fluitants. Seed, kernels or stems and algae were characterized by weight. Sample preparation and tests were established according to referenced German standards with particle size less then 75 mm. In addition, thermogravimetric analyses have been performed at 10 °C/min in Argon atmosphere. Data in the paper are shown in Tables and Graphs. The data represent valuable information for simulation or further implementation of gasification or pyrolysis processes using these biomasses. © 2020 The Authors. In order to rapidly identify the phenotypic profile and possible off-target liability effects of novel synthesized thyromimetics for selection of lead compounds for further optimization studies, we performed in vitro screening on a new small library of synthetic thyromimetics. A comprehensive panel of early toxicity assays comprising cytotoxicity on 4 different cell lines (osteosarcoma, U2OS; lung fibroblast, hTERT; human breast adenocarcinoma, MCF7; human embryonic kidney, HEK293), hERG liability, cytochrome P450 inhibition (CYP1A2, CYP2C9, CYP2C19, CYP2D6 and CYP3A4 isoforms), and off-target liability against selected proteins (Aurora B kinase and phosphodiesterase PDE4C1) and epigenetic enzymes (HDAC4, HDAC6, HDAC8, HDAC9 & SIRT7). All the compounds were screened at 10 μM in at least triplicate using well-established in vitro assays with readouts in luminescence or fluorescence polarization mode. The raw data were processed using Microsoft Excel and the Z' for each assay was calculated (acceptable Z' >0.40). The processed and normalized data were organized in tables and visualized using spider plots. The results which are reported in the present manuscript can be used in prediction studies of early toxicity and off-target liabilities of other thyromimetics using in silico methods. The data reported herein support our research article entitled "Design, synthesis and biological evaluation of novel TRβ selective agonists sustained by ADME-Toxicity analysis" by Runfola M., Sestito S., et al. More generally, these traits are also measured in the field of ecology as simple traits that can be correlated to other adaptative traits more difficult to measure on adult plants, as for example traits of the rooting system. Methods were developed for deep high throughput phenotyping of hundreds of genotypes from dry seed to the end of heterotrophic growth. The present dataset comes from a project on genotyping and phenotyping of populations of genotypes, with different geographic and genetic origins so as to increase genotypic diversity of sugar beet in terms of germination and early growth traits, evaluated at low temperatures. Data were collected in relation to the creation of the first sugar beet crop ontology. This dataset corresponds to the first automated phenotyping of a population of 198 genotypes and 4 commercial control varieties and is hosted on INRAE public depository under the reference number doi.org/10.15,454/AKNF4Q. The equipment and methods presented here are available on a phenotyping platform opened to collaborative research and adaptable for specific services for characterizing thousands of genotypes on different crops or other species. The phenotyping values can also be linked to genomic information to study the genetic determinism of the trait values. © 2020 The Authors. This data article shows the nexus between absorptive capacity (X), innovation ambidexterity (Y1) and sustainable competitive advantage (Y2).
