Immunotherapy as a new treatment modality has emerged in understanding the loopholes in the treatment of breast cancer which is mainly attributed to the potential of tumor cells to evade and survive the immune response by developing various strategies. Therefore, improved understanding of the immune evasion by cancer cells and the monoclonal antibodies against PD- and PD-L1 can help us in the diagnosis of this malignancy. Here in this article, I have highlighted that in addition to focusing on other strategies for breast cancer treatment, the involvement of immune system in breast cancer is vital for the understanding of this malignancy. Further, the complete involvement of immune system in the relapse or recurrence of the breast tumor and have also highlighted the role of vaccines, PD-1 and CTLA-4 with the recent advances in the field. Moreover, in addition to the application of immunotherapy as a sole therapy, combinations of immunotherapy with various strategies like targeting it with MEK inhibitors, Vaccines, chemotherapy and PARP inhibitor has shown to have significant benefits is also discussed in this article. The harmful COVID-19 pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus imposes the scientific community to develop or find conventional curative drugs, protective vaccines, or passive immune strategies rapidly and efficiently. Passive immunity is based on recovering hyper-immune plasma from convalescent patients, or monoclonal antibodies with elevated titer of neutralizing antibodies with high antiviral activity, that have potential for both treatment and prevention. In this review, we focused on researching the potentiality of monoclonal antibodies for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 infection. Our research review includes antibody-based immunotherapy, using human monoclonal antibodies targeting SARS-CoV-2 viral protein regions, specifically the spike protein regions, and using hyper-immune plasma from convalescent COVID-19 patients, in which monoclonal antibodies act as immunotherapy for the cytokine storm syndrome associated with the COVID-19 infection. In addition, we will demonstrate the role of the monoclonal antibodies in the development of candidate vaccines for SARS-CoV-2. Moreover, the recent progress of the diagnostic mouse monoclonal antibodies' role will be highlighted, as an accurate and rapid diagnostic assay, in the antigen detection of SARS-CoV-2. In brief, the monoclonal antibodies are the potential counter measures that may control SARS-CoV-2, which causes COVID-19 disease, through immunotherapy and vaccine development, as well as viral detection.
Radiographic methods to assess skeletal maturity (SM) have a key role in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) management, allowing to predict risk of spinal curve progression. Cervical vertebral maturation (CVM) has been recently introduced as an alternative tool to assess skeletal maturity; however, its clinical role is still debated.
This systematic review aimed to investigate the reliability of CVM in the SM assessment of growing subjects, comparing it to hand wrist maturation (HVM).
PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science databases were systematically searched from inception until 31st December 2020 to identify observational studies presenting growing subjects as participants; CVM methods as intervention; HVM methods as comparator; reliability for SM assessment as outcome. A 10-item quality tool has been used to assess study quality.
Out of 205 papers, 12 papers were included in the data synthesis. We classified 10 studies (83.3%) as medium-quality studies and 2 studies (16.7%) as high-quality studies. Eight studies reported a significant correlation between CVM Baccetti and different HWM methods.
Taken together, these findings suggested that CVM might be considered as reliable SM assessment method compared to HWM in growing subjects. However, further studies are warranted to confirm these findings.

Rotator cuff calcific tendinopathy (RCCT) is a very frequent and debilitating disease often treated with Ultrasound-guided percutaneous irrigation (UGPI) followed by physiotherapy.
A multicenter observational clinical study was designed to assess the effects of physiotherapy after UGPI on the functional recovery of the shoulders of patients suffering from RCCT.
One hundred sixty-six patients (mean age 50.7± 7.6years), 121 women, with painful RCCT were treated with UGPI and assessed at the day of UGPI (T0), and at one (T1), 3 (T2) and 6 (T3) months after treatment by the Constant- Murley Score (CMS), Oxford Shoulder Scale (OSS) and Numerical Rating Scale (NRS). Patients were divided into 2 groups, Physiotherapy (PT+) and not Physiotherapy (PT-) according to the performance of the rehabilitation program based on personal decision.
A significant improvement at T1 in all outcomes in both groups and between T1 and T3 for NRS during movement and OSS was found, but not for NRS at rest and CMS. There was no difference between groups for all outcome measures. In 27,1% of patients symptoms recurred in an average of 13 ± 8weeks.
Results suggest that post-UGPI not-standardized physiotherapy might not provide additional clinical benefits in short and medium term. Further studies could assess the effectiveness of physiotherapy performed after three months in patients with recurrence of pain.

Coronary artery disease (CAD) is reported as one of the most common sources of death all over the world. The presence of stenosis (plaque) in the coronary arteries results in the restriction of blood supply, which leads to myocardial infarction.
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of multi stenosis on hemodynamics parameters in idealized coronary artery models with varying degrees of stenosis and interspace distance between the stenosis.
A finite volume-based software package (ANSYS CFX 17.2) was employed to model the blood flow. check details The hemodynamic stenosis parameters of blood, such as the pressure, velocity, and wall shear stress were obtained.
The computed results showed that the pressure drop is maximum across the 90% area stenosis (AS). The pressure drop is increased as the distance between the proximal and distal stenosis is decreased across the proximal stenosis for the model P70_D70 durign the systolic period of the cardiac cycle. A recirculation zone is formed behind the stenosis and is restricted by the occurrence of distal stenosis as the interspacing distance decreases, which could lead to further progression of stenosis in the flow-disturbed area. The wall shear stress was found to increase as the distance between the proximal and distal stenosis is increased across the distal stenosis. The maximum wall shear stress was found at the 90% AS.
In the clinical diagnosis an overestimation of distal stenosis severity could be possible. Furthermore, the low wall shear stress zone in between the proximal and distal stenosis may help atherosclerotic growth or merging of adjacent stenosis.

Embolization degree acts as an important factor affecting recurrence of aneurysm.
To analyze the role of hemodynamics parameters of different degrees of embolization in the occurrence, development and post-treatment of aneurysms, and to determine the specific factors causing the occurrence and recurrence of aneurysms after hemodynamics treatment. Our study provides a theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of aneurysms.
Computed Tomography Angiography (CTA) data of a patient with cerebral aneurysm were used to model 0%, 24%, 52%, 84% and 100% of endovascular embolization, respectively. The time average wall shear stress, time average wall shear stress, oscillatory shear index, hemodynamics formation index and relative retentive time were used to analyze the changes of hemodynamics indexes in different embolic models.
With the increase of embolic rate, the values of time average wall shear stress, time average wall shear stress grade and aneurysm index formation gradually increased, and the values of relative retention time gradually decreased. Oscillatory shear index was higher in patients with incomplete embolization and decreased in patients with complete embolization.
As the degree of embolization increased, the blood flow tended to stabilize, reducing the risk of cerebral aneurysm rupture, and finding that the wall of the vessel junction was susceptible to injury.

The patellar and quadriceps tendons are responsible for the extension mechanism of the knee joint and frequently become inflamed during sports. Diagnosis and determination of when an athlete can return to sports following these injuries are usually performed by assessing morphological features and functional outcomes. Nevertheless, mechanical properties are not being assessed.
To describe the stiffness characteristics of these two tendons over the range of knee flexion and to test the feasibility of using strain ultrasound elastography (SE).
SE with an acoustic coupler as the reference was performed for nine healthy males. Relative stiffness measurements were obtained using the strain ratio (SR = target tissue strain/reference strain) by placing the knee in five different flexion angles. Lower SR indicates higher relative stiffness.
This study showed reliable measurement with good intra- and inter-rater agreement for SR at 30°. SR of the quadriceps tendon decreases as knee flexion increases, indicating increased relative stiffness. In the patellar tendon, no significant difference was observed between 30° and 60°. Beyond 60°, relative stiffness increased constantly.
SE is a reproducible and feasible tool to monitor relative stiffness of the patellar and quadriceps tendons in routine clinical settings.

Several finite element (FE) models have been developed to study the effects of vibration on human lumbar spine. However, the authors know of no published results so far that have proposed computed tomography-based FE models of whole lumbar spine including the pelvis to conduct dynamic analysis.
To create and validate a three-dimensional ligamentous FE model of the human lower thorax to pelvis spinal segment (T12-Pelvis) and provide a detailed simulation environment to investigate the dynamic characteristics of the lumbar spine under whole body vibration (WBV).
The T12-Pelvis model was generated based on volume reconstruction from computed tomography scans and validated against the published experimental data. FE modal analysis was implemented to predict dynamic characteristics associated with the first-order vertical resonant frequency and vibration mode of the model with upper body mass of 40kg under WBV.
It was found that the current FE model was validated and corresponded closely with the published data.
