Inline Lever/Lever

Lever Pad

A Lever Pad door handle made of upvc functions differently than lever handles that are found on the majority of doors. These handles are operated by one spindle or two spindles inline or offset. They are usually employed on UPVC doors with double glazing. They come in a variety of finishes and variations.

The handles are available in various finishes, including White chrome, and Gold. The finish is compliant with BS EN 1670:2007 Grade 5 and is also resistant to corrosion, which gives the handle a high level of durability and performance for the intended use.

Cylinder locks can be found on uPVC and other types of doors. Euro cylinders can be equipped with up to six pins with internal and external doors usually requiring different levels of security.

The choice of the correct cylinder is vitally important; this is dependent on how your doors and handles are utilized. Doors that are external, for instance are required to be fitted with higher security cylinders while internal doors can be secured with a standard cylinder. This is much quicker and more straightforward than gaining access through multipoint locks. It also leaves little evidence of a break-in, which can impede the insurance claim.

Spring Cassette

The spring cassette is positioned inside the base of the door handle backplate providing a sprung solution and returning your multipoint lock handles to their normal position after using. In the past, a lot of handles of this kind did not have a spring built into them, and as a result, they tend to droop or 'drop' once the locking mechanism is disengaged.
